How IMM started ???
The founder of IMM are the students of KIT's College of Engineering, Kolhapur. These engineering students studied the different areas in the city of Kolhapur along with the problems of people and selected the slum area of Kanan Nagar to intiate their work.They started with the free education to the students there who belong to the age group of 7-14 years. Every sunday they had a session of 2 hours in the evening with the children there which included study and games. They even went to the houses of children and became familiar with the parents. This work started by the founders is still continued by the students of same college even today.
